REMSEN YOUTH LOST IN ACTION
Henry Ohlendorf, Jr., 24, Is Killed in North AfricaRemsen, Ia.—Special: Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ohlendorf, farmers living southeast of here, have been notified by the War Department of the loss of their son, Henry, jr., 24, killed in action November 8, somewhere in north Africa.
Henry enlisted in the Army April 23, 1941, and after nine months at Camp Claiborne, Louisiana, was sent overseas in April, 1942.
Surviving are his parents, three brothers and seven sisters.

Graveside services were held at Marcus Amherst cemetery on Tuesday for Cpl. Henry Ohlendorf Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ohlendorf, with Rev. R. W. Meyer, pastor of Peace Lutheran Church, officiating.
