Daniel Bugh, a pioneer resident of Pi-
lot township, died at his home in that
township, Friday evening. Mr. Bugh
was once one of the earliest settlers of the
county and during his long residence
here had become known as a man of
most excellent character. The funeral
was held Sunday and was conducted by
Rev. Ferris.

The people of Pilot were surprised
at hearing of the death of Mr. Bugh
which occured at eight o'clock Friday
evening. The funeral was held at the
family residence Sunday afternoon and
the remains were laid to rest in Oak
Hill Cemetery.
