Kenneth Lyle Bugh was born
November 10, 1937 at Cherokee,
Iowa and passed away sudden-
ly Sunday, September 30, 1962
as the result of an automobile
accident near Green River, Wyo-
ming, at the age of twenty-four
years, ten months and twenty
days.
He graduated from Washing-
ton High School., Cherokee in May
of 1956. On October 1, 1956, he I
elisted in the United States Air
Force and spent the next four
years at Lackland Air Force
Base San Antonio, Texas, Ama-
rillo Air Base, Amarillo, Texas.
Walker Air Force Base, Roswell,
New Mexico and Peace Air
Force Base at Portsmouth, New
Hampshire, attaining the rank
of Airman Second Class.
He was released from active
service October 1, 1960 and re-
ceived his Honorable Discharge
from the Air Force Reserve Oc-
tober 3, 1962.
Kenneth was employed by the
Iowa Public Service Company at
Cherokee.
He is survived by his mother,
Mrs. Bessie Bugh, Cherokee; his
father, Clayton Bugh, Cherokee;
five sisters, Mrs. Buster (Dorothy)
Jenness, Marcus; Mrs. John
(Alice) Bevins, Crete, Neb.; Mrs.
Clifford (Marion) Vannatta,
Sioux City, Iowa, Mrs. Ce-
cil (Marguerite) Lovell, Mun-
delein, Ill.; and Mrs. Norman
(Marjorie) Tedemanson, Rem-
brandt, Iowa and one brother,
James at home. Also, his grand-
mother, Mrs. Maude Ballard,
Cherokee, thirteen nieces, five
nephews, several aunts, uncles
and cousins and his five broth-
ers-in-law.
A family prayer service was
held Oct. 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the
Boothy Funeral Home and ser-
vices at 2:00 p,.m. in St. Paul's
Methodist Church. Interment was
in Oakhill Cemetery.
