Mrs. Clara B. Cave

Clara B. Cave, daughter of David and Lena Stoner, was born in Cedar Township, Ia., on August 28, 1885 and died in Cherokee on May 16, 1961 at the age of 75 years, eight months and 18 days.

A lifetime resident of Cherokee County, she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Harold Raymond for the past 12 years.

On December 23, 1908 she was united in marriage to Frank Earl Cave. They were the parents of four children.

A member of First Church of Christ, she took an active part in the affaris of the church until recenly.

She was preceded in death by her husband on June 22, 1946 and also by three brothers.

Survivors are one son, Clarence Cave of Phoenix; three daughters, Mrs. Harold Brownmiller of Quimby, Mrs. Leslie Gregg, and Mrs. Harold Raymond, both of Cherokee; 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Emerson Wettlaufer of Winfred, S.D. and Mrs. Charles Rundell of Hawarden, Ia.; three brothers, Guy Stoner of Long Beach, Calif., Fred of Chester, S.D. and Everett of Colton, S.D.

Funeral servies were held May 19 from First Chuch of Christ. Burial was in Afton Cemetery. Pallbearers were Roger Brownmiller, Francis Brownmiller, Harold Brownmiller Jr., Boyd Simons, Paul Magnusson and Wayne Cave.
