W. A. Yarrington

W. A. Yarrington, 84, died Sunday at his home at 420 West Cedar Street where he has lived the past 33 years.
He was born February 27, 1869 in Blue Earth County, Minnesota and came with his parents to Cherokee County while he was still an infant. On November 27, 1887, he was married to Nellie Miles. They spen several years farming in this vicinity and the remainder of their married life in Cherokee.
He was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church until his health failed.
He is survived by his widow, two daughters: Mrs. Marvel Cobb, Cherokee, and Mrs. Mildred Swanson of Elk Point , S.D.; three grandchildren: four great-grand-children: and a sister, Mrs. Anna Donner of Omaha.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from Seventh Day Adventist Church. Rev. Willard Zima officiated and burial was in the Oak Hill cemetery. Boothby Funeral Home was in charge.
