Evelyn D. Letsche, 84, died on Jan. 7, 2009, at Countryside Estates Nursing Home in Cherokee.

As per Evelyn's wishes, there will be no services.

Evelyn Delores Odle, the daughter of John and Elsie (Main) Odle, was born Jan. 22, 1924 in Cherokee.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister and brother-in-law, Dorinne and Bill Schleef.

Survivors include one brother, Cletus and his wife Berniece Odle; two sisters, Marcella and her husband Darrel Blankenbaker and Virginia and her husband Jim Wolcott, all of Cherokee; and many nieces and nephews.
