Geraldine Ann Nixon, 69, died on July 30, 2008 in hospice care at Pikes Peak Care in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Funeral arrangements are being made by Cappadona. Her wishes were for cremation.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.

Geraldine has been a resident of Colorado Springs since 1993, and prior to that lived in Port Charlotte, Fla. and Cherokee.

She was born on April 16, 1939 in Washta to Clair and Ruby Clement, who are deceased.

Loving to cook, she worked many years at Penrose Hospital before having to retire for health reasons.

Geraldine was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Robert, Richard and Donald Clement.

Survivors include a sister, Darlene Burkhart and niece Donelle Burkhart of Colorado Springs, Colo., several cousins, nieces and nephews.
