Blanche Klein, 76, of Cherokee, Iowa died Saturday November 3, 2007, in the Cherokee Villa Nursing Home, Cherokee, Iowa, following a short illness.

Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday November 6, 2007, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Cherokee, Iowa. Rev. Armand Bertrand and Rev. Doug Klein will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cherokee, Iowa. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., with a scripture service at 7:00 P.M at Greenwood Funeral Home, Cherokee, Iowa. Blanche was born on October 26, 1931 in Hospers, Iowa to Tony and Isabelle (Jungers) Reidmiller. She attended school in Alton, Iowa and graduated from Alton High School in 1949. On September 12, 1955 she married Ambrose Klein in Hospers, Iowa. Blanche was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Ambrose, of Cherokee, Iowa; two sons, Ronald Klein of Storm Lake, Iowa, and Philip Klein and his wife, Janeene, of Remsen, Iowa; two daughters, Jean Smith of Des Moines, Iowa, Lisa Johnson and her husband, Richard, of Spencer, Iowa; 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a sister, Dolores Wolbers and her husband, George, of Denver, Colorado; a brother, Tom Reidmiller and his wife, Lynn, of Randolph, Nebraska; sisters-in-law, Mildred Goebel and her husband, Linus, of Granville, Iowa, Agnes Vorthems and her husband, Leo, of Westbrook, Minnesota, Germaine McCoy and her husband, Bob, of Mountain Home, Idaho; brothers-in-law, Vincent Klein and his wife, Marilyn, of Hospers, Iowa, Oscar Klein and his wife, Marie, of Alton, Iowa, Norbert Klein and his wife, Joan, of Sanborn, Iowa, Arthur Klein of Ames, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Peggy Klein (1964), and a brother Virgil Reidmiller.
