Funeral services for Patricia (Pat) Estes, 81 of Sioux Center, IA, will be Dec. 18,2005, at the First Congregational Church in Aurelia with Bruce Rapp and Pastor Randy Widbin officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Rural Aurelia.

Pat died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005 at the Sioux Center Community Hosp.

Patricia Anna Hirlemen was born Jan. 7, 1924, the daughter of Clark and Aileen (Doyle) Hirleman in Spencer Ia. Pat attended school in Storm Lake and graduated in 1942. On Mar. 21, 1944 she married Thomas Jefferson Estes in Chicago The couple lived in South Carolina before moving to Storm Lake . T.J. and Pats father bought the grocery store in Aurelia and it became the E&H Market. Pat worked in the market until T.J. retired in 1977. She worked at Jan's fashion shop in Alta and Colleens Cloths Closet in Aurelia.

Preceding Pat in death were her parents , her husband T.J. her son Steven ,and a brother Dr. Ray Hirleman.

Survivors include 5 children, Ann Short of Des Moines, Bill and his wife Pat of Sioux Center, Patty and her husband Dan Menke of Calumet , Tom and his wife Doris of Sioux Center and Mike and his wife Deb. of Traer; 13 grandchildren , 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 sister-in-law ,Marj Hirlemn of Cedar Rapids,
