Mrs. Fae Schulke, 88, of Aurelia, Iowa, passed away Mon. July 27 in the Sunset Knoll retirement Home in Aurelia.

Funeral services were held on Fri. July 31 from the Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee. Rev. Sushil Joseph officiated. Buriel was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 4, 1903 at Aurelia, Ia, to Fred and Mamie (Waddell) Schoonover. She was married to Theodore Schulke on Feb. 12, 1926 at Aurelia Ia.

She was a clerk at Main's Market in Cherokee for many years. She had also worked at Speelmans Steak House in Cherokee.

She had resided in Sunset Knoll since Aug. Of 1983, prior to that had lived on a farm in Pitcher Twp. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Pilot Rock Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Degree Of Honor , and the Pithian Sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ted on Feb. 1, 1975, a son Merryl and a grandson Jeffry on Feb. 16, 1975, also 1 sister.

She is survived by 2 grand-daughters ; Sheri & Her husband Alex Kracum of Orlando, Fla. and Carolyn Schulke of Orlando, Fla. 3 great-grandchildren; Christine Troutt, Kathryn Troutt, and Jennifer Hinsey; and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Margaret ( Peggy) Schulke of Orlando, Fla.
