Mrs. May Butts, 85 died at her home at Plymouth at 9 p.m. Thursday, following an illness. funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the free Methodist Church at Plymouth, with the Rev. Roy L. Johnston officiating.
Mrs. Butts was born Jan. 25, 1863 in Wisconsin. Surviving are 3 sisters, Mrs. Effie Blake, Cherokee, Iowa; Mrs. Elva Goodrich, Winfield, Kans., and Mrs. Leah Barnes, Mesa, Ariz, and a brother, Clinton J. Cannon, Rock, Kans.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
The body will lie in state at the Patterson-James funeral chapel until 12 noon Monday and will then be taken to the Free Methodist church at Plymouth. Burial will be at the Plymouth Cemetery. The Patterson-James funeral home in charge.
