Clinton Joseph Cannon, 811 Mansfiled; died at 12:45 p.m. Saturday at Newton Mimorial hospital. He had been a penitent there since suffering injuries when struck by a car at the corner of Fourteenth and Main on Oct. 20l

funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Morris memorial Chapel, with burial in Tisdale Cemetery.

Mr. Cannon was born Feb. 10, 1875 in (Cherokee) Iowa, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ephriam Cannon. He came to this vincinity about 40 years ago and farmed in the Tisdale community until moving to Winfield two years ago.

Survivors include 4 sons, Leland E., of Territon, Idaho, Forrest J. of Naches, Wash., Theordore F. of New Rockford, North Dakota, and Rolland W. of Havre, Montana; 23 grandchildren; and 1 sister, Mrs. L. E. Barnes of Mesa, Arizona.
