Mrs. Banks Perry died at her home in Pilot township on Monday, Feb. 11, after a short illness. The deceased, whose maiden name was Cora Athey, was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.L. Athey of that township. She was married to Mr. Perry in June last. She was an estimable woman and her sudden death has cast a cloud of sorrow over the entire community. The funeral occurred yesterday, conducted by Rev. Hood of Quimby, and the remains were laid to rest in the Pilot Rock cemetery.
