Mrs. Will Braley died at her home in Rock township on Monday, May 27, 1895, at 2 o’clock p.m. after a short illness, from inflammation of the bowels. Mrs. Braley has been ill but a few days, but on Sunday her physicians gave up hope of saving her life. Her death is a peculiarly sad one, as she leaves three small children, two girls and a boy baby six months old.

The deceased, whose maiden mane was Eleanor M Porter, was a native of Illinois. She came to this county with her parents about twenty-six years ago. She was 31 yeas of age. She was a woman with an extremely kindly heart and genial disposition, whose sad and sudden death will bring deepest sorrow to those who knew her best. The funeral services will be held today at 2 o’clock, conducted by Rev. W.L. Ferris.
