Obituary

Andrew E. Olson, was born near Kristiana, Norway, in 1825, and died of cancer Oct. 9, 1895. He came to this country thirty years ago, and for the past nineteen years he has resided in Tilden township, Cherokee county, Iowa. He had been afflicted with cancer for about one year, and was a great sufferer the last four months of this life. He was the father of eight children. An aged wife is bereft of a dear companion, and the five children of a kind father. Funeral services took place from the Mount Pleasant Presbyterian church, conducted by Rev. E.M. Miller of Marcus, at 3:00 o’clock p.m. Oct. 10. 1895
