WEDDED.

A very pretty and quiet wedding was witnessed by a few intimate friends on Wednesday noon, Jan. 14, 1891, at the residence of Mr. C.H. Orser, Meriden, Iowa, the contracting parties being Arthur E. Harvey of Cincinnatus, New York, and Minnie E. Orser, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Orser.

After the guests had passed the usual social salutations the sweet tones from the piano presided at by Mrs. C.H. Head announced the coming of the bridal party, who were met by Rev. J. C. Hutchinson of Cherokee and led to the place de ceremonie, which was in the folding doorway, under festoons of beautiful moss and the emblem of good luck, a lovely white floral horse shoe. In a brief and appropriate ceremony the vows were given, the benediction pronounced and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey were introduced to their friends.

The bride was tastefully attired in an elegant costume of new shade of blue albatross. The groom was dressed in the usual conventional style and looked his best. He has won a treasure in the choice of a noble, practical woman, to bless his home and guard his best interests through life. A sumptuous repast was served in a pleasing manner. Nothing was lacking necessary to a perfect feast of all the good things that money or care could provide.

Among the guests from abroad were Mr. and Mrs. Philip Smith of Simpson Bethel. Miss Jennie Crawford and Mattie Hyndman of Macus. The tokens of regard were numerous and valuable…
