MARRIED.—At Cherokee, February
1886, by Rev. C, H. Bissell, Mr. H. W. Prescott and Miss Mattie Phipps.
The groom is a native of Waterbury, Vermont, an industrious and worthy young man, who tiring of
bachelor solitude sought a desireable life partnership.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. Albert Phipps, one
of the earliest settlers of Cherokee, also sister to Mrs. N. T. Burroughs Mr. Prescott is to be congratulated on securing so worthy a partner.
Good wishes from a host of friends attend them.
