The Arnold-Runnings Nuptials

Meriden Call: At the home of James Runnings, in Amherst township, Thursday evening December 27, at 7:30 p.m. occurred the marriage of Prof. B. F. Arnold, and Miss Nettie Runnings, the ceremony being performed by Rec. Will. C. Wasser, of the M.E. church, of Marcus. This estimable young couple are well and favorably known in this vicinity and have the well wishes of hosts of friends. The groom holds a position on the faculty of Grinnell College, and has shown his good judgment in choosing a partner for life. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Runnings, and has lived in this county since childhood, and is a lady worthy of the esteem of the large circle of friends in which she is known. About forty of the relatives and friends of the contracting parties witnessed the ceremony and a very pleasant evening was spent.
