An Aurelia Wedding

Aurelia Sentinel, 17: Herbert E. Slater and Miss Mabel Bundy were married at the residence of the bride’s parents in this city at 7 o’clock last evening. Rev. Geo. H. Smith performed the ceremony, and E.A. Bundy, brother of the bride, and Miss Lillian Hinkle acted as best man and maid of honor. Only members of the families were present and it was a solemn and pretty occasion. The happy couple left on the 10 o’clock train for Minneapolis where they will spend their honeymoon, and after June 1st will be at home to their friends three miles south of Aurelia. Mr. Slater is well and favorable known in this vicinity, and is possessed of these sterling qualities that go to make complete manhood. He has been engaged in farming with his father south of town for a number of years and will pursue the same course in the future. Miss Bundy has a very large circle of friends in Aurelia, where she has resided for several years all of whom know her many deserving qualities. All of these love her personally for her worth and true womanly qualities. Tokens of esteem for the bride and groom from friends near and far will gladden the home that he young couple will occupy upon their return from a wedding trip of two weeks. That “their joy may be deep as the ocean and their trouble as light as its foam” is the wish of their many friends.
