Dorothy (Thomason) Dunton, 95, passed away on March 14, 2014. Dorothy was born November 20, 1918 in Lacona, Iowa to Park Thomason and Fern Thomason. Dorothy was married to Keith Dunton in 1937. Born to this union was a son, Gary and a daughter, Deanna.

Dorothy and Keith owned Dunton's Dairy Sweet in Johnston, Iowa in the 1960's. They retired to Naples, Florida in 1980.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Deanna (Marlin) Darr of Grimes; daughter-in-law, Melva Dunton of West Des Moines; sisters, Marvel Thomason of Florida and Betty Hollingsworth of Des Moines; grandchildren, Julie, Jon, Jason, Michael and Janis; six great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith; son, Gary; brother, Duane and her parents.

[Interment was made at Rock Falls Cemetery.]
