Bodies of 9 Found After Plane Crash

Epsom, N. H., (AP) – Soldiers plodded through dense woods Tuesday searching for a 10th flyer believed killed when an army plane crashed into the side of Delight mountain and exploded Monday.

Nine of the bodies were recovered Monday night and officers of the air transport command at Grenier field said 10 men were known to have been aboard the craft.

One of the victims was identified as 2nd Lt. Ardath R. Gannon, 27, of Rockwell City, Iowa, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur L. Gannon.

Mass Funeral Rites Held for 10 Flyers

Manchester, N. H., (AP) – Mass funeral services were scheduled at Grenier field Wednesday for the 10 officers and men who lost their lives when a big bomber crashed into Delight mountain and exploded at Epsom, N. H., Monday. Public relations officers at Grenier field said that simultaneous Catholic and Protestant ceremonies would be held. One of the victims was 2nd Lt. Ardath R. Gannon, 27, Rockwell City, Iowa.
