ROGER GALE IS
KILLED IN ACTION

Former Resident of Mason City in Pacific

Roger A. Gale, signalman on an aircraft carrier in the Pacific, has been killed in action [February 25], according to word received here from his mother, Mrs. Burt Gale of New York City.

Gale grew up in Mason City. Following the death of his father, his mother left the city and at present is living with her daughter, Marie Gale Bainbridge, now with a stage production in New York.

Another sister, Betty of Minneapolis, and 2 brothers, Buzzie Gale, serving in the Pacific, and Tom Gale, with the army in Europe, also survives.
