ROCKFORD - Lloyd V. KOEHLER, 83, of 1921 Jersey Ave., Rockford, died Monday (Oct. 7, 1996) at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital, Charles City.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Charles City, with the Rev. Larry VALLERY and the Rev. Debra LINCOLN officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City, with military honors conducted at graveside.

Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. today at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., Charles City, and from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday. There will be further visitation one hour prior to services at the church.

Lloyd Vernon KOEHLER was born Feb. 2, 1913, in Ulster Township, Floyd County.

[He served with the 8th Army Air Corps during World War II.] Survivors include his wife, Ruth, of rural Rockford; two step-daughters, Peggy BONZER of Nashua, and Dorothy ALBRIGHT of Lisborn; two brothers, Dale KOEHLER and Don KOEHLER, both of Rockford; two sisters, Mildred KRUSE of Charles City, and Arlene TRETTING of Rockford; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
