Mrs. Edgar service set for Monday

Mrs. Ray (Mary Josephine) EDGAR, 77, died Thursday afternoon [November 16, 1960] at a hospital in Cedar Falls. She had been making her home with a daughter, Mrs. Marvin CALVERT, at 1409 Bluff, Cedar Falls.

Mrs. EDGAR was born March 29, 1883, in Missouri, daughter of James H. and Lucy (SNELL) MINOT. She was married to Ray EDGAR April 15, 1906, in Mason City. She lived in Mason City two years following her marriage then moved to Rock Falls. She had lived in that vicinity 65 years. She was a member of Wesley Methodist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Dorothy) CALVERT, Cedar Falls, and Mrs. Marvin M. (Madeline) PETERSON, Mason City; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1952 and by a brother and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday in the Major Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Lloyd C. KELLAMS, pastor of the Wesley Methodist Church, Cedar Falls, will officiate. Burial will be in the Rock Falls Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Sunday at the chapel.
