Margaret Dougherty rites set

Requiem high Mass will be celebrated for Miss Margaret DOUGHERTY, 98, former Dougherty resident, at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patricks's Catholic Church in Dougherty. The Rev. L. H. REICKS, pastor, will be celebrant.
Miss DOUGHERTY died Thursday [May 16, 1963] at the home of a niece, Mrs. M. Willard LAMPE, in Iowa City.

She was born May 1, 1865, in Dougherty, daughter of Daniel and Mary (GALLAGHER) DOUGHERTY, pioneer settlers in Cerro Gordo County, after whom the town of Dougherty was named.

Miss DOUGHERTY is survived by a brother, Joseph H. DOUGHERTY, Butte, Mont. She was preceded in death by 10 brothers and 4 sisters.

Pallbearers selected are Richard GEARY, Edmond RIGGINS, Mike RAMKER, Richard LAWLER, Clark DOUGHERTY and James MURPHY. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery at Doughterty.

The parish Rosary was scheduled for 8 p.m. Friday at the residence in Dougherty.
