Barbara Ann Caterine, 73, of Rancho Mirage, CA passed away January 15, 2012 in Rancho Mirage.

She was born January 19th, 1938 to Lynn and Clara Bauer of Mason City, IA. She married Dr. James M. Caterine on July 8, 1961 in Iowa City, IA.

She is survived by her husband, James Caterine of Rancho Mirage, CA; her daughters, Becky Caterine of Minneapolis, MN, Gina Strattner of Rancho Mirage, CA; her sons, Dr. Anthony Caterine of Poquoson, VA, John Caterine of Freeport, ME, Dr. Matthew Caterine of Overland Park, KS; and ten grandchildren.

Private services were held. The family suggests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Please no flowers.
