CHILD KILLED BY CAR

Mason City, Ia. (AP) - Mary Jo Merritt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Merritt was killed here Tuesday night when she darted in front of a car driven by Henry Heimsness, according to police. The accident occurred on her third birthday.
