CHARLES L. LOGEMANN
1897 – March 2, 1983

Funeral services for Charlie L. Logemann, 85, Northwood, IA., were held 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, Northwood. He died Wednesday, March 2, at a Northwood nursing home.

The Rev. Allen Hermeier officiated and burial was in Sunset Rest Cemetery in Northwood.

Mr. Logemann was born in 1897 in Meltonville to John H. and Christina (Quam) Logemann. He was raised in Worth County and married Ruth E. Peterson in 1931 in Albert Lea, Minn. Mr. Logemann farmed east of Northwood and drove an oil truck for the Northwood Coop for many years. After semi-retiring, he worked as a substitute mailman and at Johnson Feed Store, Northwood. Mr. Logemann was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Northwood.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ira (Alice) Melaas, Rock Island Ill., and Mrs. Charles (Betty) Jepson, Waukon, Ia., and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife and two grandsons.

Pallbearers were Obert Hogen, Arnold Hogen, Donald Hogen, Kenneth Logemann, Marle Haugebak, and James Tweeten.

Honorary pallbearers were Junior Logemann and Marvin Hogen.
