Rites for Mrs. Kelly Thursday

Body Lies in Meyer Funeral Home at Mason City.

CLEAR LAKE, Jan. 1 -- Funeral services of Mrs. Bernard M. Kelly, 37 years old, Newton, who died suddenly Saturday, will be held at 9:30 o'clock Thursday morning at the Holy Family Catholic church, Mason City, the Rev. Richard P. Murray officiating. Burial will be made in the St. Joseph's cemetery, Mason City.

The body was brot to Mason City until time for services.

Mrs. Kelly was born Jan. 5, 1882, in Clear Lake, and resided here until womanhood. Her mother was Mrs. O. E. Freeman, now deceased. She was married May 8, 1917, to Bernard Kelly at Mason City. Since then they have lived in Newton.

She died after a week's illness.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Floy M. Mawhinney and Mrs. Ethel Weed, both of this city, and two brothers, Roy Freeman of Rodney, Minn., and Clifford Freeman of Minneapolis. Her father, G. O. Freeman, is also present for the funeral.

The sister, Mrs. Ethel Weed is critically ill at her home on South Second street and will not be able to attend the funeral.
