Killed in RR. Wreck.
MASON CITY, March 22.—A wreck on the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul last night resulted in the death of Michael McKeever, the conductor on freight No. 62, and the serious injury of Brakeman French. Passenger No. 73, west bound, was in charge of Conductor Foote, with James Martin, engineer. The freight was switching in the east yard at Hull, when the passenger smashed into it. Conductor McKeever was in the act of coupling an air break, when the bumpers caught him and instantly severed his head from his body. The engines were smashed and several cars were wrecked. No passengers were injured.
