On the 30th word was received of the death at Mason City of F. M. Gunning, brother-in-law of Mrs. Elijah Johnson and L. H. Talbert. On that evening Mr. and Mrs. Johnson took the train at Mabel to attend the funeral.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City and was born Aug. 1834 and died May 29, 1902.
