Kathleen Riley Endress died at Good Shepherd on Monday, June 19, 2017. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 29, 1924. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Richard, son Richard Endress and daughter-in-law JoAnn of Oscoda, Michigan, son Arthur Endress and daughter-in-law Rosemary of Dallas, Texas, daughter Patricia Endress Congello and son-in-law Samuel as well as her two grandchildren, Joshua and Jacqueline Congello, of Mason City.

She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in home economics and later from Eastern Michigan University with a Masters of Education. She spent most of her career teaching upper elementary and middle school in Farmington, Michigan. After retiring she enjoyed spending time at the family summer cottage on Lake Huron, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren. She was involved in Questers and was a docent at the Meredith Wilson House in Mason City. She led a full and happy life. She will be missed.
