Mrs. C. Kelley Rites Are Held

Services for Aged Dougherty Resident Held at Church

Dougherty- June 12- Funeral services for Mrs. Catharine Murphy Kelley, 72, Dougherty, who died Friday of pneumonia following a brief illness, were held at St. Patrick's church of Dougherty,
Monday. Solemn high mass was celebrated by the Rev. J. Collins.

Mrs. Kelley was born in Manitowoc county, Wis., in 1862 and moved to this community about 50 years ago.

She was married April 11, 1887 to Thomas P. Kelley, who preceded her in death 12 years ago.
One child also preceded her in death.

Surviving Mrs. Kelley are eight children, Mrs. Jim Rooney, William, Patsy, Gene, Anita and Lorraine of Dougherty, Mrs. Joe Gallagher, Rockwell, Cletus, Hibbing, Minn., and 18 grandchildren.
Her six brothers were pallbearers and three grandchildren served mass.

The funeral was attended by a number of friends and relatives. Among those in attendance were Michael Kelley, Wenatchee, Wash., Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Kelley, Misses Pearl, Isabel and Blanche Kelley and Mrs. Eugene Smith of Milwaukee, Wis.
Edward and Genevieve Gallagher of Rockford, Ill, Marie Murphy, Mankato Minn., Mrs. J. Cangson and Mrs. J. McCamber of Hibbing, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Joe Carney, Clear Lake, and Agnes Burns, Ackley.
