BUFFALO CENTER — Mildred Davids, 82, of Buffalo Center, passed away Wednesday (April 21, 2010) at Timely Mission Nursing Home in Buffalo Center.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 24, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Buffalo Center, with Pastor Perry Aalgaard officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. The burial will be at 2 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City. Friends and family are welcome to attend her visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Buffalo Center, and also one hour before the service at the church.

She is survived by children, Susan Holm of Waterloo; Marcia (Charlie) Smith, of Buffalo Center; Jeanne (Dean) Gruis, of Ankeny; Brad (Nancy) Johnson of Milton, Wis.; Karen Fennell of Chestnut, Tenn.; Sheryl (Phil) Scholer of Kasson, Minn.; Kim (Sheryl) Davids, of Buffalo Center; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Kohler, of Mason City; nieces; and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Emmet Johnson Jr. and Vern Davids; granddaughter Jessica Gruis; her parents; a brother in infancy; brother-in-law, Armin Kohler; son-in-law, Joe Fennell and in-laws Emmet and Tena Johnson.
