MASON CITY -- Katherine Atchison, 96, died Friday (Dec. 1, 1995) at the Heritage Care Center.

Private funeral services will be held on Sunday in McGregor, with burial in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, McGregor. There will be no visitation. Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. S.E., is in charge of arrangements.

Katherine Atchison was born Sept. 28, 1899, in McGregor.

Survivors include one daughter, Laura Kleinow of Mason City; one son, George of Phoenix, Ariz.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
