We record with sorrow the death of our well known and highly esteemed former citizen,
Mr. Michael Ennis, on the 11th inst., aged 66 years, and after a lingering illness.

The deceased removed from Beloit, Wis. 30 years ago and settled on the fine home farm south of Rockwell, which he owned at the time of his death.
During his long and continous residence here he made a lifelong friend of every acquaintance and established a reputation for fidelity and uprightness that will endure for years to come.

He leaves a wife and four sons, John, Daniel, Stephen and Edward, and two daughters, Mrs Wilbur Kelly and Mrs. P. J. Mullaney.
The funeral was held Friday at Sacred Heart church conducted by his pastor Rev. L.H. Burns.
Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery.

A good man gone and the community mourns the loss.
