Mrs L King funeral set for Saturday
Mrs. Leo (Bridget) King, 76, died Wednesday evening in the Good Samaritan Home.
She had lived in Mason City 43 years, having made her home at 203 26th SW.
Mrs King was born Aug. 30, 1887, at Pond Creek, Pa., daughter of James A. and Anna O’Donnell. She moved with her parents to Dougherty when she was a young
girl and had lived in Mason City since 1920.She was married to Leo King, Feb. 23, 1925 in St. Patrick’s Church, Dougherty. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Church and the Ladies Guild and the Royal Neighbors Lodge of Mason City.
Surviving are her husband, two sons, Leo D.King Jr., Dubuque and Joseph H. King, Mason City; 10 grandchildren and a sister, Hannah Tenney, Mason City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and four brothers.
Requiem High Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
The Rev. Paul J. Maquire will be celebrant.Pallbearers selected are James, Dick and Joseph O’Donnell, Ray and Francis Tenney and Dick
Cornelius. Ushers at the church will be Edward and Earl Cornelius.St. Joseph’s parish Rosary was scheduled for 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday and the Tabernacle Society Rosary for 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Hogan-McKee Colonial Chapel.
Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Dougherty.
