Catherine Corrigan Dies at 47

Miss Catherine Ann Corrigan, 47, a long-time resident of Dougherty, died suddenly Sunday night at a Mason City hospital.

She was born April 13, 1912, in Tama County, daughter of Terrance and Nora (Tierney) Corrigan.
She moved with her family to the Dougherty vicinity in 1915 and had lived there on a farm since that time.

She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church of Cartersville.

Surviving are her mother, Nora, and a brother, Francis of Dougherty. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.

Requiem High Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church, Cartersville. The Rev. Raymond Bohrer will officiate.
The Colonial Funeral Chapel is in charge. Tuesday the body will be taken to the farm home.
Burial will be in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Dougherty.
