Mrs Hugh Coyle Rites on Friday
Dies at Home after Illness.

Mrs Hugh Coyle, 78, died following a lingering illness Tuesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs Fred Cahalan, 230 6th NW.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church. The Rev. R. P. Murphy will officiate. Burial will be in Dougherty cemetery.

Born at Hazelton, Pa., in 1867, Mrs Coyle moved with her parents to a farm near Dougherty where she lived for nine years. She was married to Hugh Coyle at Rockford in 1887. Mr Coyle died in 1932. One son and one daughter also preceded her in death.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs Frances Kirk and Mrs Frances Cooling, Rockwell; Mrs Harold Eckes, New Hampton, Mrs Vern Leigh, Charles City and Mrs Fred Cahalan, Mason City. Sons are John of Manly and Hugh now at Ft. Sill, Okla.

Three sisters and three brothers, thirty-seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive.

Sisters are Mrs Henry Cahill and Mrs Edgar Toinby, Mason City, and Mrs Dan McLaughlin of Dougherty. Brothers are Tom McMenimen, Mason City, Mike of Dougherty and Jim of Waterloo.

The Hogan Funeral Home of Dougherty is in charge of arrangements.
