MASON CITY — William “Bill” A. Anderson, 84, of Mason City, formerly of Newton and Grinnell, died Friday (July 21, 2006) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery. Visitation was held after 4 p.m. on Monday, July 24, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.

Memorials may be made in William’s name and left at the funeral home.
