Leon Campbell Rites Monday
Services to be at Dougherty ChurchLeon Campbell, 40, lifetime resident of Dougherty, died at his home at 6:50 a.m. Friday, following a lingering illness. He was an employe of the Standard Oil Company and a graduate of St. Patrick's School at Dougherty.
Mr. Campbell was born June 2, 1911, at Dougherty, the son of Barney Campbell and Catherine Campbell.
He was married to Helen Jesup, June 6, 1934,at Dougherty, where they made their home.Surviving are his wife, Helen, three children, Pat., Marlene and Billy all of Dougherty, his parents and two brothers, Earl of Waterloo and Raymond of Dougherty.
The Rosary will be said at the home in Dougherty at 9 p.m. Saturday, by the K. C. at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, and the parish Rosary will be 8 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral services will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at Dougherty at 9 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. P. J. Maquire officiating. Burial will be at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery.
The Colonial Funeral Home is in charge.
