Mrs Ryan, 79, dies in California

Mrs William (Minnie) Ryan, 79, formerly of Cerro Gordo and Franklin counties, died Saturday at San Mateo, Calif.
She had been making her home with a daughter, at San Carlos, Calif. since moving there in 1955.

Mrs. Ryan was born May 28, 1886, in West Fork township, Sheffield, daugher of Philo and Katie
(Creighton) Hall.
She attended school at Sheffield and taught school in Cerro Gordo and Franklin counties.
She was married to William H. Ryan, June 16, 1909, at St. Patrick's Church, Dougherty. They lived in Illinois and South Dakota, prior to her moving to California. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1948.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Leo (Kay) Tonetti, San Carlos, Calif., two sons, Tom Ryan, Red Lake Falls, Minn. and Parnell Ryan, North Chicago; four granddaughters and two grandsons, and a sister, Mrs. Karl (Florence) Wooldridge,
Mason City.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lodema; son, Harold; a sister, Mrs Grant (Cora) Scott, and two brothers, Ted and Glen Hall.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
Visitation at the Hogan-McKee Colonial Chapel has been scheduled from 7 p.m. Wednesday until the time of services.
