Father O'Reilly, Esteemed Pastor of Dougherty Dead

Doutherty, Ia. Aug. 5.
Rev. Patrick E. O'Reilly, pastor of St. Patrick's church died Friday evening at his home after a brief illness. Father O'Reilly was born in County Clare, Ireland, Mach 17, 1864.
He was ordained June 23, 1889 by the Rt. Rev. Bishop Murray at All-Hallows.
He came to America on January 8, 1890, and was made pastor of St. Joseph's parish at Waucoma, Iowa. He stayed there until 1898, then became pastor of St. Patrick's church of Dougherty until the present time.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from St. Patrick's church.
His Grace Archbishop J. J. Keane preached the sermon and gave the last absolution at the grave.
