D. O'Donnell Rites to Be at Dougherty

Daniel O'Donnell, 80, retired farm laborer of Cerro Gordo County, died early Sunday morning at a Mason City hospital. He had lived in Mason City for the past nine years and prior to that time had lived in Dougherty since 1889.
Mr O'Donnell was born March 20, 1877, at Hazelton, Pa. son of Daniel and Cecelia (McGonagel) O'Donnell. He was member of St. Patricks's Catholic Church of Dougherty.
Surviving are two brothers, James and Joseph O'Donnell, Mason City and a niece, Mrs Maurice Monahan, Mason City. He was preceded in death by a brother, Hugh, and a sister, Mary, and six brothers who died in infancy.

Requiem High Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Dougherty. The Rev. Ronald Axen will be celebrant. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery at Dougherty.
The Colonial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments.
