MASON CITY -- Betty J. O'Donnell, 70, of 715 N. Harrison Ave., died Friday (Nov. 17, 1995) at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City.

A funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Holy Family Catholic Church, 715 N. Adams Ave., Mason City, with the Rev. John R. Kremer officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood St. Joseph Cemetery.

Visitation will begin 6 p.m. Sunday at the Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., where a Scriptural wake service will be held 7 p.m. Sunday, followed by a rosary.

Memorials may be given to Amicare Home Healthcare, in memory of Betty.

Betty J. (McCaulley) O'Donnell was born March 15, 1925 at Fort Dodge, a daughter of Harry J. and Mary (Nelson) McCaulley.

She married James A. O'Donnell on Oct. 12, 1946 at Mason City.

She was a member of Holy Family Catholic, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary, both of Mason City.

Survivors include one daughter, Jean Davidson of Mason City; three sons, James A. O'Donnell and his wife, Linda, of Fort Wayne, Ind., Patrick M. O'Donnell and his wife, Jan, of Hampton; Paul A. O'Donnell and his wife, Cherie, of Hampton; seven grandchildren, Kathleen J. O'Donnell, of Waterloo, Anthony P. O'Donnell of Des Moines; Patricia J. Walker of Hampton; Kristen J. Davidson of Mason City; Chad M. O'Donnell of Hampton; James A. O'Donnell of Fort Wayne, Ind.; Erin M. O'Donnell of Hampton; and one brother, Dale McCaulley of Mason City.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James in 1993; one grandson; and three brothers.
