Rosemary Gelner, 63, of 612 Third St. N.E., died Monday (June 26, 1995) at Good Shepherd Nursing Home. No visitation will be held. Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., is in charge of arrangements. The body is to be donated to University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines.

Rosemary Hines was born July 16, 1931, on a farm in Winnebago County. She was the daughter of William and Genieve Hines. She attended rural schools and high school in Fertile and Forest City.

In 1949, she was married to Wayne Francis Gelner. Of this union, three children were born. Rosemary enjoyed caring for children. She loved gardening and flowers.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Leon (Rhea) Behrends of Forest City and Mrs. Vicki Van Every of Mason City; one son, Timothy Wayne Gelner of Mason City; four grandchildren, Daniel VanEvery and Lisa, and Marc Behrends and Sara Behrends; and two sisters, Mrs. Milton Stout of Albert Lea, Minn., and Olive Dalluge of Mason City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and one sister.
