Robert Trumble April 19, 1958 - February 23, 2018

Robert Trumble, Jr., 59, of Mason City, died Friday, February 23, 2018 at his home.

He was born April 19, 1958 in Los Angeles, California, son of Robert G. Trumble Sr. & Lois Lorain Gray. He grew up in Acton, California and went to high school at Palmville High. He moved to Iowa around 1978.

During his life, Robert had various work roles. His favorite one was driving the big dump truck. In his spare time he enjoyed wood working, fishing, biking, dancing & had a love for plants, old movies & cooking.

Robert met June Prince, the love of his life, in 1999 & they enjoyed many years together.

Even though Robert struggled with alcoholism, when he was sober he was known to be the type of man that would give the shirt off his back to someone in need.

His family hopes he has found peace at last, & that those with similar struggles can find the strength & love to overcome them. To always remember God's grace & love, that we are the creators of our lives, not the victims of our past.

He is survived by his best friend, Junice Prince; children, including Tammy Charlson & Tonya Shehata; sisters, Lori Dorsey, Katrina Carter Skinner; and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
