Following the graveside service, the family invites those in attendance to join them in the Holy Family Parish Hall where a luncheon will be served.

Terese Frank was born in Blue Earth, Minnesota, on June 20, 1921, to Jacob Frank and Catherine Lauer Frank, and was one of 11 children. She was a graduate of Holy Family Catholic High School. Terese was married to Lawrence William Hamann on April 28, 1946, in St. Alphonus Catholic Church, Los Angeles, California. Terese was a member of Epiphany Parish in Mason City.

Terese valued her faith and treasured her family. She took special delight in sharing the successes and antics of her granddaughters and great-grandchildren. Her 12 great-grandchildren will always remember her for the warm pajamas she gave them every Christmas — she took such delight in choosing a special pair for each child.

Terese loved to read and transitioned from books to the Kindle at the age of 90. She collected Angels, enjoyed the beauty of flowers, and looked forward to one day being with her beloved husband, Larry, who passed away on April 30, 2001. Whenever a crisis arose, Mom would get out her rosary beads and start praying. Our dad always liked to say, "you play the cards you're dealt," and we think Mom played her hand beautifully. We take comfort in knowing she is with the love of her life once again, and back with her siblings and they are probably having one big pot luck in Heaven! She and Dad are dancing to Dad's favorite big band sound and then afterwards taking time for an ice cream cone treat.

Terese is survived by her three children and their spouses, son, Dennis and his wife, Dot of Terre Haute, Indiana, daughter, Constance and her husband, Michael Wentworth, of Mason City, and daughter Cynthia and her husband, Jeffrey Rowe, of Emmetsburg. She is also survived by her three granddaughters, Jennifer and her husband Mark Arnold and their children, Caitlyn Gruening, and Cameron, Kaylee and Courtney Arnold; Jessica and her husband Ben Sather and their children, Morgan, Braeden, Haely and Hannah Goetsch; and Lisa and her husband Jeff Olsen and their children, Kaitlyn, Andrew, Chase and Alex; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Frank, Clear Lake, Marge Frank, West Des Moines, Marilyn Olsen, Ormand Beach, Florida; and brother-in-law, the Rev. Franklin Jones, Arlington, Virginia, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Terese was preceded in death by her husband, Larry, her parents, her daughter-in-law, Rita Hamann, her 10 siblings: brothers, Jacob, Nick, Emmanuel (Bud) and Joe Frank, and sisters, Barbara Kolda, Mary Solomon, Jacqueline Herlan, Elizabeth Murphy, Anne Pardekooper and Catherine Johnson.

As her nine-year-old great-grandson Alex said upon hearing of her death, "She really was a great gal." That pretty much says it all!
