Bonita "Bonnie" Beth Caspers, 62, of Rockwell died Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, at Hospice of North Iowa, surrounded by her family.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 502 Second St. S., Rockwell. The Rev. Rhea Evanson will be officiating.
Interment will follow at Rockwell Cemetery.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2014, from 4-8 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church. Those planning on expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Hospice of North Iowa.
Bonnie was born on June 23, 1952, in Charles City to Donald and Beth Parcher. She was the second youngest of seven children growing up on a farm in Rockford. Bonnie graduated from Rudd-Rockford-Marble Rock High School. On Feb. 14, 1981, she was united in marriage to Jack Caspers. They had many good years together up until Jack’s passing in 1995. Bonnie later remarried on Feb. 8, 1999, in Vegas to Richard Carpenter. She most recently worked for the Diamond Store in Southbridge Mall in Mason City.
In her free time, Bonnie enjoyed sewing and reading. She also liked traveling with her sister Janet. Together they took a trip to Mexico. Bonnie had a soft heart for her dog Lily. Above all, her passion in life was her grandchildren. Bonnie loved her grandchildren dearly and cherished every moment spent with them. She had a very close bond with grandson Alec. Family was everything to Bonnie. She was a wonderful cook and didn't hesitate to make plenty of food for family gatherings. Bonnie will be greatly missed by all those who love and knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Brandon (Jody) Sheriff and Amanda (Travis) Hobbiebrunken; parents, Donald and Beth Parcher; brothers, Larry (Jeannie) Parcher and Ronald (Netta) Parcher; sister, Janet (Lyle) Winter; grandchildren, Genna Sheriff, Gavin Sheriff, Graci Sheriff, Alec Hobbiebrunken, and Aisley Hobbiebrunken; husband, Richard Carpenter; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack Caspers; siblings, Michael Parcher, Linda O’Rouke, Nicholas Parcher and Steven Parcher; and niece, Amy O’Rouke.
