Cindy was born Aug. 16, 1935, the daughter of Galen and Kathryn (Shannon) Hauge in Belmond. She married Robert H. Wolfram in 1955 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ventura.
A graduate of Hayfield High School, Cindy was the drum majorette in the band, played basketball throughout school, a cheerleader and was Miss Hayfield during the North Iowa Band Festival. She later attended NIACC in Mason City, Waldorf University in Forest City, and Iowa State Teacher’s College in Cedar Falls. She briefly worked as a teacher throughout North Iowa.
Cindy was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and an active volunteer at Opportunity Village in Clear Lake. She had a passion for children and helping others; especially the less fortunate. She prided herself on her faith and was always praying for her family and others. Earlier in life she was very artistic, working with many mediums including: ceramics, watercolor, pencil, and others. In her free time, Cindy enjoyed living on the lake, watching the birds and squirrels, and shopping. Even though she liked buying new clothes and looking at them in her closet, she was seen most often wearing a house coat and always with red lipstick. Of all her joys and hobbies, she cherished her family the most and loved spending time with them.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Bob Wolfram “Mayor Bob” of Ventura; three children, Bobby Wolfram of Ventura, Wendy (Tony) Joseph of Byron, MN and Robin (Rick Hueser) Wolfram of Ventura; three grandchildren, Nate (Thea) Anthony, Nic Anthony, and Emily (Eric Ferson) Olson; three great-grandchildren; two siblings, Gary (Marieluise) Hauge of Ocala, FL, and Tony Hauge of Clear Lake; and many loving nieces and nephews whom she cherished.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Susan Hauge-Tyler.
